Temple Square. One night when Kyle was working, I tagged along with Mandy, Shaun and Anna down to see the lights. It was freezing so I had Ez bundled up to the max and he slept almost the whole time we were walking around!

Wolf Creek Colorado

Last week we went on a quick ski trip down to Wolf Creek ski resort in Colorado to meet up with our friends Nic and Cat Dewsnup. It was going to be such a quick trip that we decided to leave Ezra with my sister cause we didn't want to drive 8 hours with a baby, ski, and drive back 8 hours again with a baby(Plus, who really wants to SKI with a baby:)). The whole family was supposed to go but with a few bumps in the road it ended up just being me, Kyle, Patrick(my bro), and Kyle's parents. We left on Tuesday afternoon, skied Wed and Thurs, and drove back Thursday after skiing. Everything was going fine until the drive home... Kyle, Scott(Kyle's Dad) and I somehow caught some kind of stomach bug and all 3 of us were throwing up the whole way home! It was the longest 8 hour drive ever!
Hiking the ridgeline. Toni, Nic, me, Patrick

Riding the lift.

Kyle hiking the ridgeline.

Getting ready to drop in.
Our ski lines...yellow is Patrick, brown is mine, blue is Nic, and red is Kyle.
This was the first time I had left Ezra for very long and I missed him tons but it was nice to get 2 ski days in without having to worry about him, he had so much fun playing with his cousin Anna! Thanks Mandy, Shaun, and Anna! And thanks for the fun trip Nic and Cat!

4 posts in 1

This year was the girls turn in our families to plan a Valentine's date. So my Mother-in-Law came up with pretty much the whole thing and it turned out great! We got babysitters for the kids and went to Rodizio for dinner. This year Cody (Kyle's bro) and Eliza were here from PA so they were able to spend it with us!

After dinner, we headed up to the Parrish's house (Some of our parent's neighbors) where they have a ballroom in their home and we had a friend come and give us ballroom dancing lessons! Here we are showin off our skills!

I just had to post these pics from last year, I have been reflecting a lot this past few weeks. Jan 26th marked the day of my first hospital admission due to my horrific mysteriously painful pregnancy! I started off Valentine's Day in the Hospital and was lucky enough to get released that day after 3 whole weeks of testing and procedures to find nothing wrong with me! The pain continued but they never knew why! So here we are on the morning of Valentine's Day last year!

And here we are on Valentine's evening after I got out of the hospital last year!

Okay, now that I am done reminiscing...! My brother-in-law Kip just got married on Feb. 11th. My camera was almost dead and I ended up not even getting a pic of Kip and Emily so I stole this from Katie's blog who was their photographer! Thanks Katie!

Just a few pics of us at the temple and the reception! I got Ezra the cutest little suit. He looked so handsome!

My talented mom did their cake. She has no bakery or any professional tools, she just likes to get creative with cakes. She actually has done all of the Whipperman kids' wedding cakes except ours(she had plently of other things to worry about:) Plus she has done a few other peoples wedding cakes too! Here is the finished product!

Next post...Ezra's swimming lessons! Me and Ez go to swimming lessons every week for the past 5 or 6 weeks. Here are a few shots of him working on his floating and dunks! He just loves the water and it has been so fun!

Final post...swinging! I took Ezra out to the community swings the other day and he loved it. I just wanted to post a few pics of his cute mug!

My Savings!

Okay, so since October I have been big into couponing and I was just so excited about my last trip to the store I just had to share it! I had a HUGE cart full and when I went to check out I was getting nervous about how much it was going to cost. Well, the total came to $220.88 and I started to sweat, so I handed over my fresh values card and the total dropped to $117.84 so I started to feel a little better. Then, I handed over my huge stack of coupons and the total came to a whopping $74.16!!! I was so excited! That is a 67% savings!!! I saved $143.32! This is what I got!

2 loaves of bread
1 gallon milk
apples, romaine lettuce, cucumber
1 can enfamil formula
4 bags shredded cheese (for the freezer)
2 bags mission tortillas
5 bags lunch meat
8 yogurts
4 boxes capri suns
6 boxes kleenex
3 bags solo plastic cups
1 bag solo plastic bowls
1 sour cream
5 boxes cereal
3 apple juice
1 grape juice
4 boxes kraft mac n cheese
4 boxes delux mac n cheese
5 boxes quaker chewy granola bars
4 boxes fiber one granola bars
10 sobe life waters
1 box of butter sticks
2 cans green chilis
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 can cocoa
2 hershey bars
4 philadelphia cream cheese(for the freezer)
and I think that is it...I got 89 items for $74...that only $0.83 per item. I highly recommend using coupons!

Now on to my favorite little man!

We got to have Anna spend the night the other night and Ezra just loves his cousin! He is always happy when she is around! I just thought this was a cute pic of them taking a bath!

Ski Free after 3

On New Years Day we headed up to Alta ski resort to ski free after 3 pm. We bundled up Ez and strapped him to Kyle!
Shaun and Mandy(my sister) have taken Anna up a few times and made her a harness so she could ski easier. She did really well but got a little tired towards the end!
Feeling the exhaustion!
Go Anna!

Ezra was pretty good the whole time but got a little wiggly on the lift cause he was zipped in Kyle's coat and it was a little tight!

All bundled up!

All tuckered out!

Patrick and Natalie left their snowboards at home and borrowed some of our skis so they could join us at Alta!
Can't wait until we can strap some little ski's on Ez!

Ezra's 6 month pics

At the last minute I decided to get Ezra's pictures taken for his 6 month milestone a few weeks ago. Here are some of my favorites! This one is my very favorite, I just love that little smile and bright eyes!
He wasn't looking at the camera but oh well!
Love the close up!
Gotta love the drool!

Love the laughing ones!
Now for a few funny ones!
Always has to taste everything! I had to keep taking it out of his mouth between every picture!

Going for the mouth again!
This one cracks me up...he looks like he is doing a sexy pose!

Whipperman/Romero Christmas Card

So last Friday my parents and Kyle's parents were up to something and would not let anyone come over to their houses. I was home alone with Ezra while Kyle had to work and wanted to go up to my parents house so they could keep me company. Well, they told me "no" and said "sorry, we have plans and you can't come!" I was like, "Oh fine, be that way!" So I just hung out with Ez, wrapped Christmas presents, and watched Christmas cartoons!
So Yesterday, Sunday, we had our families over for dinner and while at the dinner table, our parents presented us with THIS!

This is what they were up to! Making a Christmas card from the 4 of them! They bought themselves matching footie jammies and had a hay day taking pictures! Can't wait to see what they come up with next year!

Family Pics

Last week I decided that we needed to take family pics since our 7 YEAR ANNIVERSARY was on Dec 12th and Ezra just turned 6 months (and we needed a Christmas card picture). We had about 20 minutes before my brother had to be to work and Ezra had a Dr. appt. so we ran up to the old dam by my parents house in the FREEZING weather and quickly took a few shots. You can see Ezra started to get a red little nose after a minute...we tried to keep a blanket on him between background changes but he didn't seem to mind the cold! Here is what we got!

It was hard to get his attention and we were all so cold so we just took the pics and got back in the car as fast as we could. It was in the teens that day....brrrr!

I can't believe we have been married for 7 years already! Crazy....we are an old married couple! It has been the best 7 years ever!
